Lovely apartment with amazing views. Good size rooms, very comfy beds . Really convenient location. On the pictures the terrace looked like a private terrace although it isn't, however we still felt comfortable to sit out on it and enjoy the views. Lovely bottle of wine on arrival a really nice touch . Would highly recommend.

Terrace was communal. Nobody much walked past but could have. Could benefit from chest of drawers in bedrooms. All the same lovely situation. Very clean and totally enjoyed our stay.

The flat was easy to find (good directions!) and was much as advertised. The all-important views are truly magnificent - there are literally 000's of boats to watch in the estuary - and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the shops and, indeed, Falmouth town centre....and The Boathouse pub across the road proved to be a delight. We'll be back!

R, S & T:

Thankyou for scones and wine, much appreciated. Enjoyed our week in very in a very comfortable and ideally placed apartment with fantastic views. Here to see our son and celebrate his birthday. He's found even more interesting eating places! Time mainly spent locally, including catching up with family & friends (R is a cornish exile) including those form the 1800's in the church yards. The weather has mainly been hot and sunny with occasional rain/showers inclusing a very heavy one on wednesday night which closed the High street because of flooding at the bottom end. The week passed by too quickly. Hopefully we'll make another return visit, Our thanks again.

Many thanks for cream tea & wine, nice touch. This has been our first time in cornwall and Falmouth & its surrounding areas have not disappointed. Though some of the roads we have driven down would have been better if we had come down on the motorbike - maybe next time. Despite the odd gripe we have been really happy in this apartment, the views have kept us entertaimed for hours even on the odd day when it has been misty. Cant fault the weather we are going to be freezing when we head back up north on saturday. Highly recommend Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah & Grange fruit farm at Gweek for scrumptious cream teas and great views of naval helicopters at Culdrose practicing hovering etc.. Many thanks for a great stay and lots of great memories.

Had a very enjoyable stay despite the British weather. Apartment is lovely once inside especially the kitchen. We did expect the balcony to be a little more private and felt a little overlooked by the houses on the right, however the fantastic views more than made up for it and the location was brilliant and everso peaceful. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Many thanks for the cream tea and wine. Both were very welcome after a long drive. Wish we couldve stayed another week.

From one extreme to the other, The Cove at Maenporth is highly recommended for posh nosh and the Balti in town also excellent for something tasty and filling. A lovely and comfortable base for a special week.

We've been coming to helford passage for many years but decided to stay in Falmouth town for a weeks winter break. It's been a blustery week but we thoroughly enjoyed mooching the shops and harbour and visiting Truro for some Christmas shopping.
Estuary View has been a great place to come back to for cosy nights in or a short walk to the pub if we feel like it. All in all a lovely week.

Fantastic setting and great flat. Bit of a windy week but walks on the headland were made even better for this. We got some rowing done too so were well pleased. Went to the usual haunts Maritime Museum, Eden Project. But the town wa salso interesting, so many shops - lots of independants. Whilst here we heard that Rick Stein was opening a restuarant here, it would be good for Falmouth purely to bring that end of the town alive a bit as the shops by the Maritime Museum look to be a bit sparse of customers, but it will not deter from the towns cafes/restuarants. Look forward to coming back.

Wow, what a lovely apartment!
Being used to cottages and having stayed in an impersonal apartment in a new development in Falmouth earlier in the year, we were a little apprehensive but the apartment is so cosy, homely and so well equipped we felt at home immediately and the views are gorgeous. We absolutely love Falmouth - the shops are an absolute joy. Lovely to see so many quirky independant shops in one place. We love the music shop Jam, with its little cafe at the back. Cinnamon cafe is lovely too - really chilled out with free wifi. Really like the mix of shops in nearby Truro too, especially Truro Fabrics 'a dressmakers heaven'. Wish we could take this Jam and Secrets dress shop back to Bristol with us. We had lots of fun skimming stones on swanpool beach and exploring the rock pools at Gyllyngvase beach. Thanks for having us and we will certainly be back.

Fantastic apartment, we loved the view and how close it was to the town. Will be back in touch to book for next year. We really enjoyed catching the ferry to Flushing and then walkingaround the headland to Mylor. It was a lovely walk made even better by the food at 'Castaways' wine bar - they even allow well behaved dogs on leads ( a bonus on a wet day!)

Lovely apartment would definately come back. Lots of places to visit, some of our favorites were The Eden project, St Ives & Padstow. Rick Steins Bistro in Padstow is worth a visit, more locally Pandora Inn at Mylor harbour serves gorgeous food. The only problem we had was with the heating but Max got this sorted as soon as we mentioned it. All in all a fab holiday.

Susan & Robin Warren:

A very comfortable base from which to visit family and friends, Robin having been born and brought up here and now our son is living and working here. A long held wich to live somewhere with a view over to Flushing has been fulfilled if only for a week! We all just marvel at the wonderful view anytime of the day or night.
Being able to leave the car and walk into town is a bonus and we've explored more than usual. One afternoon we enjoyed a Fal River Boat trip and one lunchtime we took the ferry over to Flushing for lunch at the Quay Cafe (Ex Sticky Prawn). The ferry operator recommended the megrim sole that had been delivered, He was right it was very good.
Other places we enjoyed meals are the Boathouse, the star and garter (top of the high street) on Thursday with a folk band for entertainment and sea views. Their cornish crab soup was delicious. The courtyard Deli and coffee shop (Bells court,up an alley opposite M&S) was worth a visit. The Gylly Beach cafe is no ordinary beach cafe, with some interesting food on the menu, plus lovely views. Further out on Trelawny road, Provodore Deli also serves delicious food to eat in or take away. We've been very fortunate with the weather and its been a really super week we hope to make a return visit in the not too distant future.

Lovely apartment. Beautiful views. No need alarm clock the seagulls were natures way of waking us up!
Newquay Zoo and Pendennis castle were good value for money, the seal sanctuary & the aquarium in Newquay were a bit pricey though. This is the second visit to Falmouth for us this year, will aim to retun next year. Many Thanks.

Enjoyed very good weather this week, the best according to the locals since June. Particularly enjoyed Maenporth beach - Great sandcastle sand, pools, rocks and kite flying! Beach cafe has great variety of Kellys ice creams & unusual teas. Across the road is a great restuarant serving great Tapas Al Fresco. Local pub (bright yellow you cant miss it) is friendly and serves a great pint of doombar which is also great mixed with their ginger beer. Found Falmouth people generally very friendly & welcoming and we loved the town itself with so many independant quirky shops. Tourist information is handy being only a short walk on the pier. And of course we thouroughly enjoyed returning to our very stylish and comfortable flat at the end of the day. Thanks so much we've had a great holiday.

The photos on the internet did not lie. On the contrary!!!
Beautiful Estuary View.
Lovely apartment and picturesque town.
We could have chosen just to spend the week just exploring Falmouth but we decided to see Lands End, Newquay and Penzance!
We have all enjoyed our stay here, not least the Orca sea safari was quite an experience, although we were not lucky enough to see Dolphins or Seals the event will not be forgotten.
Thankyou for making a perfect base for a relaxing holiday.

Good situation - beautiful views, Very clean and fairly well equipped. The apartment has a good layout and a large, excellent kitchen/diner. 2 bathrooms make for an easy life. Quick response from owners to any query. Falmouth is beautiful, shop and cafe/bar/restaurant owners are very friendly. Prices in the area are resonable and better than many other holiday resorts. Boat trips good value. Would definitely recommend this property and destination to others.

Dear Max & Sally
Our stay at No 8 this week was just brilliant! A well presented flat with the perfect view of gods country(flushing) LOL. As Robbie is 21 months old you can imagine what a hand full he can be but your apartment is very kiddie friendly. We only had to turn the cooker off at the mains for his well being and move the living room table towards the window (and hide the chess set). It has been an absolute pleasure to have used your accommodation and it will be on top of our agenda the next time we visit Falmouth. Many thanks for a nice stay.
